There are not enough game titles out there with the word "epic" in them. Something about the word epic builds up the creative and wild imagination of the human mind, at least it does for me. A recent game that was released that I would like to do a review for is called "Epic Mickey".
Grab your paintbrushes and bring your artistic talent with you, because we are going to paint the town tonight! Epic Mickey is a tale about our hero Mickey Mouse in a one of a kind adventure game that will totally blow your mind into a creative and original world.
I'll have to start of by saying that I am not a personal fan of Mickey games, I saw a few trailers of the game so I figured I would give the rental a try. One of the things that was a bit difficult to figure out was how to save the game or find checkpoints. The game does have checkpoints, you just have to play long enough in order to stumble across them and save your progress.
At a glimpse you will notice that you are surrounded by a lot of paint in game, the game reminds me a bit of Super Mario Sunshine with the incident that occurred in that game. The Epic Mickey Walkthrough illustrates the story line of the game, and covers additional levels, resources and information.
I have finished about a fourth of the game from the rental, it's not really too bad of a game, it's not the most "epic" console game I have ever played and personally I sill prefer Mario games over it, but I find that most kids under the age of 13 will definitely enjoy this new adventure style game with plenty of twists and moderate cartoon action. As for my personal review, I would have rate this game a 6/10, I'm sure most kids will enjoy the game more than I have, but as with anything everyone has their own personal preference on what they like and dislike.
