Modes

One Minute - score as many nets as you can in one minuteTwo Minutes - score as many nets as you can in two minutesThree Minutes - score as many nets as you can in three minutesFree Throw - just score as many nets as you want with no time limit

Gameplay

Very simple gameplay. There are four footballs underwater, you have control of two pumps either side of the screen that elevate the balls. There are three nets on the screen, two at the bottom and one at the top. The bottom two nets give you one point each for every ball you successfully place within it, the top net gives you three points. You can tilt the screen as well to gently nudge the balls in the direction in which you want them to go.

The game is like those that you used to get to play with in your bath, where the pumps push the balls around the liquid allowing you to score each time the ball falls into one of the nets contained therein.

Tips

Quickly shift your balls to either side of the screen by tilting, thus preventing wasting time waiting for the balls to drop!Attempt to get two balls in motion from either side of the screen, having idle balls means wasted timeIf you can salvage an erroneous throw then do it, pump the ball to achieve at least a 1 score with every throwUse the tilt when balls are hanging to score a net rather than let the balls fallConcentrate on maintaining a clear runway on the outside of the screen, this means attempting to score 3s on every go rather than 1sUndercook rather than overcook, missing every single target by overthrowing is the ultimate no no

Positives and Negatives

Positives

The latest version is freeGameplay does not require any thinking whatsoever, so you will pick it up within seconds of playing itGameCenter compatibility means you will be continually striving to get a better score so that you enter the leaderboardThe length of the one and two minutes games are just right for the format, apps are designed to be quick and quirky and iAquaPlay is certainly thatWill only take up a small amount of space when you download it (it's only 3mb) and is quick to download as wellStrangely therapeutic as the balls swim round the underwater sceneAdverts are visibly non obtrusive (but see below for main criticism of the adverts)

Negatives

There is noticeable slowdown when the adverts are changing on screen, this can affect your score considerably as you are unaware how hard to press on the pump when this happens. Frequently you under/over press meaning your rhythm is disruptedThe pumps don't always seem to pump the way they should, possibly as a consequence of the above problem. Like the point above, this considerably impacts on your scoreOnly four modes that are played on exactly the same screen. Different sized nets and differently placed nets would have provided more varietyPlaying in three minute mode is tediousNo achievements to unlockThis article has been viewed 3 time(s).
