Firstly, the trailer filler valve for liquid oxygen should be attached to the filler port of the vent. Secondly, you need to fill and buildup the valve that located on converter. You can find that the valve on the service trailer filler is going to force a piece which is known as the nosepiece, down.
Moreover, this can also happen to the vent, the fill and buildup valve poppet. This action can cause the converter to start filling automatically. The valve of the vent and the fill ports become opened if the poppet is pressed down. In this process, you can find that the buildup port is not open.
This action can allow the pressure of the gas build up in inner sphere and is then vented to the sky. Furthermore, the liquid oxygen in the trailer will go through the vent, buildup, and fill valve when the pressure gets vented. Then, it flows to the converter. The vaporization is made when the level of liquid oxygen starts to rise, this in turn, is vented to the heavens as well. The converter is considered to be full only if the liquid oxygen starts to flow in the steady stream.
In addition, the filler valve for the servicing trailer can be disconnected if it is deemed that the converter is full. In this situation, the noise piece and the poppet get disconnected and the vent, the buildup and the fill valve will go back to its original position. This action can make the converter automatically go back into the supply and the buildup mode since the valve of the vent and the fill ports get closed and the buildup port is opened.
