Here was my experience of speeding up my slow PC, it had been accompanying me for five years everything was going fine and then all of a sudden in this summer, it began to run very slow, frequently restart, which made me almost impossible to finish a single job. But since the fact that I had actually been quite attached to my computer, I would rather try to figure out a way to speed my slow computer up than buy a new one! At first I thought maybe it was the CPU fans that didn't function anymore, which couldn't cool down the CPU that led to these computer errors. As it turned out the CPU was broken exactly what I expected, after replacing it, I felt myself released and thought this ought to speed up my slow PC, but every problem stayed still. I began to feel sad that if I couldn't speed up my slow PC, I would have to give it up, but to find ways to speed up my slow antique PC was the only choice I would ever made.
The second day, an idea came to mind, maybe I could speed it up this way and make my years-old slow PC a brand-new one, it was possible that physical bad sectors on the hard drive made these unusual problems, I used a software to scan for physical bad sectors, but only negative results came back, I began to lose faith in speeding up my antique slow PC. If it was not the CPU, Hard drive that caused these problems, what would it be? I posted a question about this online, and someone suggested me scan for virus to speed up slow PC, everything began to come clear, previously I focused on hardware but forgot software. However, once again I was overjoyed, and convinced that this must be the solution to speed up my slow PC. Virus scan result suggested that my PC was infected with several viruses, which didn't amaze me, but the one big thing that completely stroke me out was cleaning out virus did make my PC run stable again, but no contribution to speeding up my slow PC, and brought another problem that after having cleaned out the viruses, whenever I started my PC I always got a message that informed me system could not locate some kind of DLL file. Gosh, why would to speed up a slow PC be so hard?
In the end, I had no one to turn to but gave a PC tweak tool a try, it was recommended in one of the answers to my question. In the beginning I didn't believe it and thought it was a scam, someone tried to trick me to get money out of me, but it proved itself worth buying by effectively speeding up my slow PC, and the error message that popped up every time had gone too. I didn't know why, but the technicians from the company that designed the software told me it had something to do with the register and too many junk files which I don't quite understand.
